Meet Larkview’s Inspiring 100th Purchaser

In just a few short months, Jinding’s fast-selling Larkview community at Mount Barker has celebrated its 100th sale – to a 19-year-old first homebuyer keen to get on the property ladder early.
Riddhi Chotara from Northfield secured the 100th lot recently, after being urged by her dad to consider Larkview for her first purchase.
“My parents have always encouraged me to not wait for things to happen to me, or to expect to be handed opportunities. So I started looking for places, thinking the earlier I start on my property journey, the better,” she said.
“I am someone who really wants to be independent and I’ve always been that way. I’m Indian and it isn’t traditional for girls to be like this, but my parents are so supportive and we’ve always believed in the opportunity property affords.”
“My dad mentioned Larkview because I wanted somewhere hilly, with nice views. Adelaide has got too busy over the years.”
“Larkview was the first place we went to together and what stood out were all the options. I loved the sound of the lifestyle and Jinding’s previous projects. I checked out the area, not really thinking I was going to buy, but then I realised it wasn’t a bad idea. I’m so surprised to be the 100th purchaser!”
Riddhi is studying psychological science at Flinders University with an intention to move into medicine. She juggles her second-year uni studies with a job as a pathologist.
“I have a long education journey ahead of me, studying medicine, but I intend to live in my house once it is built. I like commuting and I think the hills will be a nice place to escape back to at the end of the day,” she said.
“It is so exciting to start to think about the house I might build!”
